Elegant Handmade Raku Fired Ceramic Vase

Stunning Modernist ceramic vase by American artist Norman Bacon. Norman began experimenting with Raku style firing in the late 1970’s using texture and other forms of decoration. This vase has a classical form with vibrant Raku. The piece also has a bead-like texture scattered throughout the body. The vase is in good overall shape with no chips or damage to the body. The piece is marked, signed by the artist “Bacon” on the base.
